List of Talks 2023/24
When you enquire about a talk I will ask for any particular interests, how technical you would like it to be and any particular phobias (for example spiders or snakes) so that I can tailor make the talk to suit your group or association. All my talks are based around the following basic outlines, include a slideshow and can have as much or as little technical detail as you require, the talks can be adapted to be either 60 minutes or 90 minutes (with a break half way through), both allow plenty of time for questions. I am more than happy to custom write a talk and from later in 2022 I will be able to include a section or even on half dedicated to my photographic journey including recent hurdles with an injury, please just ask if you would like more details on these.
The first three include all the technical details for all the photos and I will talk about how they were taken, I also now include a bit about post processing, images that haven't worked and why and an open Q&A session at the very end.
The Forgotten Little Creatures talk has some technical details but doesn't include the post processing and images that haven't worked section.
Wild Hidden Bulgaria is all about the amazing nature and wildlife of Bulgaria with just a small section on post processing.

Wonderful World of Macro
This talk is completed dedicated to macro photography, but this is no ordinary macro photography talk, it focuses on creative macro photography in the field. I cover what macro photography is, equipment needed, challenges and how to overcome them as well as the little extras that I recommend carry in your bag at all times.

Brand new talk written during lockdown covering macro photography both in the garden and in the field.
Creative Nature
Looks at my nature and wildlife photography work including macro photography, birds, mammals and some landscapes and covers how I took the shot including lighting and composition and how to be more creative when photographing nature, I also look at multiple exposures.
Forgotten Little Creatures
This talk covers my Forgotten Little Creatures Project and brings together creative photography, technical details, stories behind the images and also some interesting fun facts about the subjects.
Wild Hidden Bulgaria
Another brand new talk, basically Forgotten Little Creatures of Bulgaria, looking at just some of the plants, invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles of this amazing country.

Travel expenses where applicable are 45p/mile & overnight accommodation if required.
1-2-1 Tuition & Private Group Workshops
I am happy to now offer one-to-one tuition and workshops for groups which are perfect for any level of photographer whether you are a beginner or maybe just stuck in a bit of a photographic rut.
I offer these as a half or whole day on location, the session will be completely tailor made to suit your requirements, prices start at £200.
